In the previous article, we mentioned China’s four visa-free policies. Today, let’s focus on the unilateral visa-free policy.
1. Unilateral visa-free
China unilaterally allows citizens of certain countries to enter China without a visa and without the need for a visa in advance.
Entry reasons: tourism, business, visiting relatives (except work and study)
2. Covered countries (latest date: 38)
As of the latest content, China allows people holding ordinary passports from 38 countries to come to China for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, exchange visits or transit, and the entry period shall not exceed 30 days.

3. Scope of activities and duration of stay
Scope of activities: There is no regional restriction in China. If you enter the country through transit visa exemption (240 hours), the scope of activities is limited to the designated scope of 24 provinces.
Duration of stay: No more than 30 days, starting from 0:00 the next day of entry, and staying continuously until 24:00 on the 30th natural day.
4. Notes
No need to apply in advance, enter directly with your passport.

The validity period of the passport covers the end of the stay period, and it is recommended to be at least three months.
For supporting documents, it is recommended to bring documents consistent with the reason for entry, such as invitation letters, hotel orders, round-trip air tickets, etc. Border inspection may check at any time.
